It was Sarah's mother who contacted me through my website, you know what they say... mum knows best! The wedding had to get postponed for a week as Neil was unfortunately in hospital but I was so glad I was free so I can capture their special day. I meet Neil at the registry office and waited for Sarah to arrive. Sarah arrived with her Mother who I had been speaking to prior the the wedding and due to COVID restrictions she was unable to be in the room, it was important for me to get a picture of Sarah and her Mother so they had something to look back on despite the circumstances.

One shot that Sarah mentioned she really wanted was walking down the aisle which her son, and mainly a shot from behind of them walking away. I always like when a client has a specific shot in mind and just proves why it's important to have the consultation calls before hand.

As it was a small wedding with only the witnesses allowed to attend, the group shots didn't take long! The registry office did have a nice little garden area outside where we could get some shots. Sarah's son had fun exploring the gardens, although he did accidentally flick some mud at me... it's all part of the job!
