It was a trip up to Spalding to capture Kat and Ben's special day. Kat wanted some images from her day that she could look back on and we decided for me to come to her friends lovely house in Donington to get some photos before of the family. The garden was a great backdrop to get some images before the big moment. Kat made me aware her children can be a bit wary of strangers so it was good I could come nice and early so they got used to the strange man with two big cameras strapped to him!

It was then off to the South Holland District Council building in Spalding. Once we got there, Kat's little girl got right into the spirit of the day and couldn't help but smile. Ben was waiting inside, and due to the COVID restrictions only a small number of close family were allowed in.

During our consultation, I noticed Ayscoughfee Gardens was just across the road and asked if Kat would like to head there after the ceremony get to some shots. Kat was more than up for this so we made plans to go there for a quick 10-15 minute stop.

After this short stop, it was on to Ben's parents house in Boston. They had set up the garden for the newly married couple and it was such a nice relaxed way to celebrate. Ben's Father took his role as toast master as we raised a glass to Kat and Ben.
